The Experience >> About Brazil

Brazil is a truly enormous country, larger than the USA (Alaska excepted), so it’s little wonder its inhabitants prefer to think of it as a continent.

A notable lack of mountains aside, Brazil has a diversity of natural beauty to more than justify the exaggeration.

Brazil Coast
Speaking of diversity, Brazil is perhaps the most cosmopolitan country in the world.

European, African, Indian, and Japanese influences are apparent in both the varied appearance of the people and the rich melting pot of their collective culture.

Brazil ’s disparate elements are bound together by the spirit of carnaval.

While the annual celebrations are its obvious focal point, hedonism infects every aspect of life here.

From the rich diversity of local music and dancing, to the varied cuisine, to the myriad nightlife options available in just about every town with half a population.

Which makes this one of the perfect destinations for plastic surgery tours.

Before or after your cosmetic surgery procedure has been completed, make sure that you take in some of the following tourist attractions.

Teatro Amazonas

Much is made of Brazil’s unique blend of influences but nothing can properly prepare you for the sight of the Teatro Amazonas in Manaus.

A sprawling city on the banks of the Rio Negro River and a popular departure point for those wishing to explore the jungle, Manaus’ Opera House is all the more astonishing for its frontier location.

Designed in a pastiche of the Italian Renaissance style and

taking twelve years to build, it was completed in 1896 and consists of materials from all over Europe.

Better still, it is by no means a mere relic, hosting regular concerts and exhibitions.

Iguazu Falls

falls

The Igazu Falls are waterfalls of the Iguaçu River located on the border of the Southern Brazilian state of Paraná and the Argentine province of Misiones.

The system consists of almost 300 falls, with heights of up to 70 meters, along 2.7 kilometres of the Iguassu River.

The Garganta del Diablo ("Devil's Throat"), a U shaped 150 meters wide and 700 meters long cliff, is the most impressive of them all and marks the border between Argentina and Brazil.

Most of the falls are within Argentine territory, but the best view of the Garganta del Diable is available from the Brazilian side.

This spectacular location has been used in a number of major films including the Bond flick Moonraker and The Mission.

Florianópolis

If it’s beaches you’re after, you could do a lot worse than pay a visit to Florianópolis, the capital city of Santa Catarina State in southern Brazil.

Boasting more than 100 beaches, 42 of them beautifully developed and maintained, there is something for everyone here, from surf dude to beach potato.

Vila Rica do Ouro Preto

A city in the state of Minas Gerais, Ouro Preto is a former colonial mining town located in the Serra do Espinhaço mountains.
