What are the considerations?

• There is no guarantee of the final result being exactly what you wanted. Rhinoplasty patients tend to have expectations of perfection, which can’t always be met.
• The nose will be very fragile during the recovery period and therefore vulnerable to accidents which may alter the intended shape
• Adverse reactions to anaesthesia
• Although highly unlikely if antibiotics are taken as prescribed, there remains a small chance of infection.
• The procedure is moderately painful. Analgesics will be prescribed to combat this.
